Easy Phirni Recipe | How To Make Delicious Phirni Dessert


Phirni is originated in Persia, but it is famous in India by Mughals. This delicious creamy rice pudding made of milk, rice flour Kesar, cardamom, nuts & raisins. Phirni is now popular with natural fruit flavors like mango, strawberry, etc. Today I will share this recipe which will be mouth-watering for you. I personally love this recipe so much, so sometimes I make it at home. So why don't you try this once by my recipe?

Cooking time : 40 minutes


 Serving person : 5 person


Ingredients:

Basmati rice - 100gm

Full fat milk - 1.5 liter

Ghee - 2tbsp

Sugar - 50gm

Salt - small 1 pinch

Milk made - 30gm

Cardamom powder - 1/2tsp

Saffron - 5 to 6 piece threads

Cashew nuts - 10 to 15 pieces

Raisins - 10 to 15 pieces




Cooking Method :



  • First, soak the rice for about 15 minutes in the water. Then strain it, now grind the raw basmati rice in a grinder, make sure the grind should neither be too coarse nor too fine.



  • Now add I cup of hot milk to the basmati rice flour. Stir it to avoid lumps, keep aside.



  • Now take a pan, slightly roast the cardamoms on low flame. Then grind the cardamoms into powder, Keep aside.



  • Now take a heavy bottom pan to add milk to it for boiling. Add saffron threads for good colour & aroma.



  • While boiling starts add milk-soaked rice flour to boiling milk. Keep stirring the mixture to avoid lumps.



  • Now add sugar & milk-made to it mix them properly at medium flame until phirni thickens.




  • Now take another pan sauté raisins & cashew nuts in ghee for a minute.



  • Then mix the sautéd Cashew nuts & raisins to phirni.




  • At last, you add cardamom powder to phirni for a sweet aroma mix them for 2 to 3 minutes.




  • simmer until phirni is neither too thin nor too thick.




  • When you understand the phirni is absolutely ready, pour the phirni into burnt clay cup.




  • After filling the cup with phirni put it into the fridge for about 24 hours for best taste & texture.



  • Serve chill after the main course.
