Creamy Peri-peri Chicken Pasta | peri-peri sauce penne pasta

Creamy cheesy Peri-Peri pasta is just wow, the taste of this pasta with smokey, spicy, tangy & cheesy are so much good. That's why this pasta is on my favorite list. The combination of cream & smokey peri-peri masala is just unbelievably tasteful on pasta. I will share an easy recipe of creamy peri-peri pasta while you will definitely love it. this recipe will give you an indo-western taste.


Creamy Peri-peri sauce penne pasta



Cooking time - 30 minutes


serving -  4 peoples




Ingredients :

(For boiling pasta)
Penne pasta - 200gm

Water for boiling - 1 liter

Salt - 1tbsp

Refined Oil - 4tbsp

(For peri-peri mix)
Red chilli powder - 1tsp

Garlic powder - 2tbsp

Cinnamon powder - 1/2tsp

Oregano - 1tsp

Ginger powder - 1/2 tsp

Sugar - 1tsp

Salt - 1tsp

Onion powder - 1tbsp

Smoke paprika powder - 1tbsp

 (Other Pasta ingredients)
Butter - 4tbsp

Refind flour - 3tbsp

Milk - 500ml

Fresh cream - 50gm

Any processed cheese - 1cup

Tomato ketchup - 2tbsp

Chicken boneless - 1 cup (small cubes cut)

Any colour bell pepper - 1 piece

Broccoli - 1cup (optional)

Mushroom - 1cup (optional)

Corn kernels - 1/2 cup (optional)

Black crushed pepper - 1tbsp

Basil fresh - 3 to 4 leaves

Chopped garlic - 1tsp

Cooking Method :

  • First, boil the penne pasta for 7 to 8 minutes with added salt and oil. Keep aside after done it.



  • Now take a sauté pan add 3tbsp of olive oil or refined oil, now add garlic and sauté for few seconds. Then add boneless chicken cubes, sauté at medium flame for about 1 minute now add bell pepper, broccoli, corn kernels, mushrooms  & salt, and pepper sauté the vegetable & chicken for 5 minutes. Keep aside after stir fry.





  • Now mix all the dry spices for peri-peri mix in a small container. keep aside for later use.



  • Now take another sauté pan put 4tbsp butter, melt in low flame, now add 3tbsp refined flour. Mix together at low flame (use whisk). when you get nutty smells from the cooked flour & butter mixture add milk to it and continue stirring the mixture.









  •  You will see lump is forming into the mixture, continue to stir the mixture to stop lumps forming inside the sauce.





  • Now add salt & sugar, tomato ketchup & peri-peri mix in the sauce, and stir frequently. Cook for a few minutes at low flame. If you see the sauce is getting dry, you can add more milk to it.





  • Your peri-peri sauce is ready now add boiled pasta, stir fry chicken & vegetables into the peri-peri sauce.





  • Lastly, add grated Amul cheese & fresh cream to the pasta mix it for 2 minutes, finish with fresh basil.



  • Serve hot with roasted garlic bread on the side.
