Chicken cheese momo Recipe | Kolkata WOW Momo style
Momo or dumplings are East Asian food, and it is famous in every city & country nowadays. one momo called chicken cheese wow momo is very famous in Kolkata city right now, nowadays we can see the stalls of this momo center in every shopping malls. I personally love the wow chicken cheese momo very much. Sagar Daryani & Binod Homagai is the founder of WOW! momo. After long hard work of them, this WOW momo achieved this place, This momo is very delicious & filled with cheese and chicken. Today I will try to crack the recipe by myself. So try my recipe at home and enjoy this mouth-watering appetizer.

Ingredients:
(For momo)
Minced Chicken - 500gm
Amul cheese - 200gm
Chicken broth powder - 2tbsp
salt - 1.1/2 tbsp
all-purpose flour or potato starch - 200gm
sugar - 1/2 tsp
(For momo soup)
Garlic chopped - 1tsp
Onion chopped - 1tsp
Ginger chopped - 1/2 tsp
Green chilli chopped - 1tbsp
Soya sauce - 1/2 tsp
Fish sauce - 1/2 tsp
Black pepper - 1tsp
salt - 1tsp
minced chicken - 100gn
egg - 1 pc
coriander leaves fresh - 10gm(optional)
oil - 1tbsp
chicken stock - 300ml
(For momo chutney)
For red chutney
Tomatoes - 2 pcs
Dry red chilii - 5 pcs
Garlic cloves - 8 pcs
Vinegar - 2tbsp
Oil - 1tbsp
Salt - as per taste
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Ginger - very small 1 piece
For Green chutney
Coriander leaves - 2bunch
Green chilli - 7 pcs
Vinegar - 3tbsp
salt - as per taste
Ginger - 2cm size small 1 piece
Garlic cloves - 8 pcs
Cooking method:
- First, make a dough of rice or potato starch or all-purpose flour, keep aside for resting and cover it with a semi-wet cotton cloth.
- Now make the filling of momo or dim sum or dumplings, by mixing of Amul cheese, minced chicken, and broth powder. Mix them well and keep aside.
- Now make a sheet from flour or potato starch dough by rolling pin and cut them with a round cutter.
- Now Put the desired quantity of chicken cheese mixture over the round sheet and give a nice shape to momos or dumplings.
- Now make momos until the mixture is finished. Keep aside raw momos after put the filling inside.
- Ready momo steamer on gas flame with water, arrange the raw momos into the steamer. Brush them with oil otherwise, it can stick to the bottom of that steamer. Cover by lid & cook them for at least 30 minutes.
- When your momos are getting tender and well-cooked, make the momo soup.
- First, take a saucepan heat oil, and put chopped onion, garlic, ginger, green chili, and minced chicken, saute for few minutes.
- Now add salt, soya sauce, fish sauce, black pepper, and chicken stock into the saucepan, Boil for 5 minutes.
- Now add chopped coriander and put raw 1 egg directly into the soup, and slowly stir the soup, for getting the restaurant like soup.
- Your soup is ready now make momo chutney,
- (red chutney) First, boil the tomatoes and dried red chilli together for 10 minutes. also, Strain out the water & Grind the boiled red chillis and tomatoes, ginger, garlic, oil, salt and sugar, and vinegar together. After grind the spices and tomatoes you get good smooth tangy chutney for momos or dumplings.
- (Green chutney) wash fresh coriander leaves along with stems and green chilli, now grind the green chilli and coriander leaves with vinegar, ginger & garlic, salt together. After grinding the spices with coriander leaves, you get greenish tangy spicy chutney for your momos or dumplings.
Serve hot steamed momo with 2 chutneys along with the soup. I can say this recipe along with chutney and soup you will like.
