Easy chicken shawarma recipe
This chicken shawarma actually invented in Turkey in the 19th century, the Turkish people used to had chicken (seasoned mix with special herbs) skewers which were placed into a rotating grill oven. This fascinating system introduced in Greece, their local public call this "gyros", now after this dish becomes famous in the Middle East country, it called "shawarma" in there.

Ingredients:
(Chicken marination)
Chicken boneless - 400gm
White pepper powder - 10 gm
Bay leaf - 2 pieces
cardamom powder - 05gm
Nut-meg powder - 04gm
Saffron - 0.5gm
Greek yogurt/Hung curd- 100gm
olive oil - 10ml
Lemon juice -15ml
Salt - 10gm
Za'atar powder (middle eastern mixed herb)- 5gm
vinegar red/white - 5ml
cumin powder - 10gm
coriander powder- 10gm
Red chilli powder 15gm(for colour)
Sumac powder - 5gm
(shawarma Salad)
- onion - slice
- lettuce - shredded
- cucumber - Julienne
- Tzatziki sauce - 1 cup(shredded cucumber, chop garlic, parsley, salt, lemon juice, dill leaves mixed with hung curd)
- Pita bread - as required
Cooking Method :
- First marinate the chicken with White pepper powder, Bay leaf, cardamom powder, Nut-meg powder, Saffron, Greek yogurt/Hung curd, olive oil, Lemon juice, Salt, Za'atar powder, vinegar red/white, cumin powder, coriander powder, Red chilli powder, mix them well wrap the bowl of chicken mixture with clean wrapper or whatever you prefer for covering,
- keep the marinated chicken in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours for the best result.
- On the next day arrange all marinated chicken in a skewer and place into an open rotating oven/shawarma oven or you can use a normal baking oven at low temperature (140℃-160℃ roasting) for 40 minutes.

- It will become deliciously aromatic after cooking the chicken.
- Shred the chickens and place into pita bread along with Tzatziki sauce and sliced onions cucumber and lettuce finish with Za'atar & Sumac powder, chop parsley top of that chicken shawarma.
