Easy Chicken pakora (continental style) recipe

The chicken pakora is a type of fired item or snack that loves everyone in everywhere. Mainly kids will love. It can be different types like fried, baked many types but I will tell you about fried chop continental style, it is easy to make so let's get started.

Chicken fired croquette

Serving portion: 5 persons

 Time: 30 minute

Ingredients:

Butter- 25 gm
Refined flour - 25 gm
Milk - 150 ml
Olive oil - 15 ml
Boneless chicken breast mince- 100gm
Garlic clove- 05 gm
Eggs - 1 piece
Potato boiled(smashed) - 60gm
Breadcrumbs- 50 gm
Oil for frying - 300ml
Salt- 15 gm
Pepper - 15 gm
Cheese- Parmesan/or yellow Cheddar
Parsley chopped- 15 gm
Cajun spice - 8 gm
Oregano - 5 gm
Basil - 2 or 3 leaves
Bell pepper any color (chopped)- 1 piece
Lemon wedges- 3 pieces (Garnish)

Cooking Method:

  • Melt butter in a small saucepan add refined flour and cook gently stirring for 1 minute at a very low flame, gradually beat with adding milk in the butter & flour (roux) mixture and make a very thick sauce add cheese if you want to make it cheesy your wish. (this cheese sauce goes as an accompaniment with onside of Chicken chop)




  • Now sauté garlic in olive oil add Basil leaves then add pepper crushed oregano add chopped bell paper sauté until translucent, add salt, now add minced chicken and cook at high flame for getting the moistest of chicken when the chicken becomes whitish that means it is cooked properly now move away from flame let it cool.


  • Now take a mixing bowl to add chopped fresh parsley, Cajun spice, egg, shredded Parmesan cheese, breadcrumb little bit, add flour and sautéd minced chicken mixture now mix them well by hand and make a small round patty.


  • Now make a batter mixture of flour and water(consistency of that batter should like pancake mixture) now pour one by one patty into the batter mixture.


  • Then take them out from the batter and put the patty in breadcrumb for coating.

  • After coating them one by one arrange them all in a tray and keep them in the freezer for at lesst 1 hr.

  • Deep-fry them till golden brown, (if you want to keep them for later consumption you store it at -5℃ to -10℃ temperature). 

  • Garnish with lemon wedges and serve hot with cheese sauce.
